RGB index

Orthomosaic + VARI

The orthomosaic shows your field in true color. The VARI (Visible Atmospherically Resistant Index) uses the same RGB flight to highlight vegetation differences that are easy to miss in a photo alone.

VARI is useful for spotting thin stands, weed pressure, and vigor patterns when you want a quick health read without multispectral capture.

RGB index

Orthomosaic + TGI

TGI (Triangular Greenness Index) estimates greenness related to chlorophyll from RGB imagery. Side-by-side with the orthomosaic, striping and uneven vigor become much easier to see.

Farmers use TGI to prioritize scouting: walk the lighter or hotter bands first instead of covering the whole field the same way.
